you’re like school on sunday. no class.

that little gem of an insult goes out to michael. so thank you. for nothing. except for the title…nevermind. and i’m back to pirating the internet for pics. like of the houston skyline. (that’s what’s pictured if you didn’t know already.) my mom works in the building with the “needle.”  that’s what she would tell us when we were little.

sooo GUESS WHO WAS SUPER SPIRITED AND WENT TO THE FIRST HOME GAME!

uhh heck YES, i did, and apparently it was a sold out game, which is uncommon…or something.

i don’t really remember a lot/anything of what was chanted or sung…they didn’t really give us a home game 101 lesson at orientation. however, i do remember 2 that were yelled before the game:

leader: “WHOOOSE HOUSE”
crowd: “COOOGS HOUSE”

aaannnddd

leader: “GIVE ME A U”
crowd: “U”
leader: “GIVE ME A H”
crowd: “H”
leader: “WHAT DOES THAT SPELL”
crowd: “UH” (as in ‘uh, i don’t know.’ not UH…like you-aych)
leader: “LET ME HEAR IT TWO TIMES”
crowd: “UH, UUUH” (screamed while doing pelvic thrusts)

it made me laugh.

yep. a bunch of sexually active attendees known as students. haha, but it was fun. there were also 2 UT fans in the student section. i only know this because they were the only 2 people wearing burnt orange in a blob of red. i don’t really know what happened, but they ended up having red face paint applied to their heads…and then they were escorted out…like i said, i don’t really know what they did, but out they went.

however, i did receive a mass student email about good sportsmanship from the associate vp of student development/dean of students that included this bullet point (i picked it because it’s my fave):

  • Be a good host to visiting fans and demonstrate what it means to be a good sport and a “Cougar with Class.”

hahaha cougar with class. keepin it fancy while harassing the visiting team is a must.

after the game i met up with some st. ed’s (robby & corbin) & ut (michael w, ismael, & matt) kids on a street i would loosely compare to 6th street. nah’m sayin? we went to the “pearl bar.” if anyone is 21+ and living/visiting or plans to live/visit houston, you should check it out.

since then i’ve been avoiding assignments like it’s my job. i think it’s because i’m the leader of the procrastiNATION. but it’s ok, i’ve been catching up on the rachel zoe project and watching movies i missed in theaters. i love dvr. true story.

speaking of true stories, tonight’s the beginning of football season, which means hurricane season will be taking the backseat…unless things get serious.

tis the season to be tailgating.

When I was reading all the “true” words, all I could think of was True Life…you know how I feel about that show.
